With predominantly green tones, the Vinhos Verdes Region is the biggest Portuguese Demarcated Region and one of the biggest in Europe. Its natural conditions are ideal for the production of excellent white wines. Situated in the interior of the Vinhos Verdes Region, on its border with the Douro Region, the sub-region of Baião is at an intermediate altitude, benefiting from conditions that create a less temperate climate, with colder, less rainy winters and hotter, drier summer months.
