The management of the online shop and the logistical operation associated with the marketing activity are the responsibility of the farm Casa das Hortas – Agricultural and Trading Company, Lda, NIPC 5034612873, with headquarters in Principal de Valadares Street, 146, 4640-594 Baião.

The Store online “Casa das hortas” (House of Gardens), reserves the right to modify, at any time, the information and commercial offer presented on products, prices, promotions and commercial conditions. The conditions in vigour at the time of using the website shall apply.


The Casa das Hortas (House of Gardens) provides to the client of their online store payment by ATM, bank transfer, credit card and Paypal. All orders placed in the Online Shop will be shipped after payment has been settled.


The orders placed in the Online Shop of the Casa das Hortas, unless any situation of stock shortage or other unrelated to the producer (eg natural disasters, road accidents, etc …), will be delivered anywhere in Continental Portugal in the average period of up to 5 working days.

Transport service

The service of transporting orders is provided by the companies DHL, for international shipments, and Torrestir in the domestic market, mainland and islands. The Casa das Hortas reserves the right to change the transport service provider without prior notice, identifying the provider at checkout.

Payment service
ATM and credit card payment service is provided by SIBS, as well as bank transfer. The Paypal payment method is the responsibility of the platform itself.

Shipping costs and deliveries
The shipping cost depends on the weight of the order and its delivery destination. The shipping costs will be automatically calculated when you place your order in the webshop.

The Casa das Hortas has its own packaging for the transport of goods, developed with the specific purpose of efficiently protecting its content.

Orders must be examined by the customer upon receipt. If any irregularity is detected in the order or problems with the product(s), the client should return it (them) to the carrier, explain the reason for the return on the delivery note and inform the Casa das Hortas, which is committed to resolve the occurrence as quickly as possible.

The Casa das Hortas, recognizes to its clients the right of resolution of the contracts that they celebrate with it, allowing them to return within a period of 14 days the acquired products in the terms of the Decree-Law nº 143/2001 and Decree-Law 82/2008 of 20/05.

To initiate the return process the customer should send an e-mail to [email protected] In the answer, the customer will be informed of all the steps that will follow to return the product and refund the money paid, deducted from the return expenses, within 30 days.

For the return to be accepted, the returned product must be in proper conditions of use (including labels and back labels) and the return must include the original packaging that accompanied the product.

Billing is not automatic, it is done manually after payment by the customer from Monday to Friday.

The invoice will be issued in physical format and sent together with the order. If you wish the invoice to be sent by e-mail or if you do not want it to accompany the order, e.g. if it is a gift, please contact us at [email protected].

Whoever wishes to send an order without invoice should send us an e-mail with this request to [email protected].

Stock e Preços
All items on sale in the Online Shop are subject to existing stock and orders will be taken on a first come, first served basis. In the case of temporary or even definitive unavailability, this information will appear on the product concerned.

All prices indicated on the website are in Euros and include VAT at the applicable rate and IEC where applicable. Prices may be changed without prior notice at any time, without this resulting in compensation for customers who have purchased the products at a previous date for a higher price.

The special promotions that can be done in the Online Shop may not apply to the physical shop of the Casa das Hortas or any other physical or online shop of our clients, and vice-versa.

Order Processingtrong
After making the purchase, the customer will receive an e-mail confirming the purchase and indicating which products have been purchased. Order cancellation can only be effected if the order has not yet been dispatched.
